Water lawns in summer, 20 minutes, 2-3 times per week before 10 AM

Fall             SEPT-OCT

1. Aerate
2. Apply Lime, lightly water after applying
3. Wait 2-3 days and apply grass seed and starter fertilizer

Winter         DECEMBER-JAN

1. Do not apply winterizer or crabgrass preventer- these products will cause any grass seed that has not germinated to stop growth
2. Optional application of starter fertilizer

Spring        MARCH-APRIL 
 

1. When weeds begin appearing, apply Ortho Weedbgone or Speracide Weedstop….wait to apply until weeds appear!!! Don’t wait too long to apply, the weeds will be too mature…
2. Two-three weeks after application, apply grass seed again

Summer         JUNE-JULY 
 

1. Optional application of starter fertilizer, make sure the fertilizer is applied every2 ½-3 months, not before

Shrubs

1. Treat shrubs in early spring with Ortho Systemic Insect and Disease Control
2. Feed Spring and Fall with an all purpose slow release plant food
